A Very Scottish Affair….

With the back drop setting of Belvoir Castle and the turbulent weather rolling over the Vale hills, anyone could be mistaken for thinking that Wendy & Ian were actually getting married in Scotland! And a little look closer you’d of been convinced they really were, with the sea of gorgeous tartan, the Groom in his kilt and the thistles taking the main stage on the flower front, it was an authentic Highland affair!

When Wendy came to see us she excitedly explained the reasoning behind the theme of her big day. The colours of periwinkle blue, navy, crisp white and a hint of yellow are the colours in the tartan worn by her New Husbands clan… How romantic!

We designed Wendy an informal loose hand tied Bridal Bouquet with Avalanche Roses, Blue Eryngium, Delphiniums, Solidago and White Heather, tied off with the tartan design woven in silk and matching her shoes!

Another week, another happy couple…whoever said romance is dead, well they need shooting!
